Phyllis believes real life experiences give added definition to God's Word as she shares memorable stories that are encouraging, enlightening and entertaining.
Jeremiah 15:16 "Your Word is what sustains me oh Lord, it is food, (a feast) for my hungering soul. It brings joy to my sorrowing heart, it delights me. How proud I am to be called Your own, dear Lord."

This energetic wife, mother and
grandmother loves people, laughter, tears and clog dancing.
"Clogging is one of the few things I am willing to sweat for..." She has been known to slip a little number into a program from time to time.
Speaking nationally, Phyllis has been a popular presenter at women's retreats, conferences, banquets, and workshops, as well speaking to singles groups, senior adults, young adults and teens. With over 15 years in long term healthcare, Phyllis has spoken to healthcare organizations, civic associations, and auxiliaries.
Since 1980, Phyllis Harmony has traveled with her message of hope, encouragement and coming alive. As the illustrator and contributor to four books of inspirational poetry by her mother, Louise Thompson, Phyllis often includes a poem in her presentations as a tribute to the impact her mother has had on her life.
In March of 2005 the KISSES OF SUNSHINE series by Zondervan Publishing Company went on the market. Phyllis had 2 of her signature stories published in two of the publications.
Phyllis Harmony is not just another speaker, because she brings real life to the table and has a feast. She is an entertaining storyteller that not only recounts a series of events but also has the very special knack of finding the life lessons and sometimes the humor in the event.
Many programs can be adapted to meet the needs of both Christian and secular audiences.
Statement of Faith by Phyllis Harmony
God has proven to me repeatedly that He has a personal interest in me. As a teenager needing love and forgiveness to a woman learning that the love of God is the only thing I can always count on, I still marvel that the Lord sent His Son for me and to me and that by a simple act of faith and invitation Jesus has come to dwell in my heart and give me life to the fullest.
I believe the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of the Living God. I believe God is 3 persons in one, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
My daily prayer is that I can stay out of God’s way as He works in my life and that I can be more sensitive to the direction of the Spirit. It is such a privilege to share my faith discoveries with others and to know that God has this same deep passion for everyone. Whatever path He leads me to, I’ll always be honored to travel with Him.
I was raised in the Methodist Church, was a member of The Vineyard Church of Columbus, Ohio, and now after marriage in 2002, I have joined my husband, who is on staff, as a member of Eastside Grace Brethren Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
