MORE THAN A MIRROR IMAGE
Before we put on our masks, we take a quick or long gaze into the mirror. What does your reflection say to you? It is almost impossible to say we are not fascinated, whether in a positive or negative way, with the image we see in the mirror. But how accurate is that image in your mind’s eye compared to the image seen by the One who created you?
What does JOY look like to you? This is a look at defining the word JOY according to scripture. Does JOY define you? How can our lives be joyful with so much confusion and hurt invading us? Restoring your JOY that is from the hope that only comes from the author of JOY- taking back the JOY of His Salvation. "You will go out in JOY and be led forth in PEACE." Isaiah 55:12a
IF YOU'VE GOT THE BANDAGE PUT IT RIGHT ON THE HURT - how to help your hurting friend.
Have you considered the worth of a bandade? It protects, gives comfort, cushions the blow, keeps out the dirt...it aides the healing process. But we must remember the Great Physician does the healing. This program includes Phyllis' personal story of how the bandade became so significant in her life. SPENDING YOUR DASH
With all of the conveniences that make our lives easier, why are we are so often in a hurry? Many of us seldom get to sit and read a good book, or enjoy puttering around the house or yard. We are dashing through the snow, the rain, the sunshine, but not always laughing all the way as the song would suggest. But I have a message for you. What I want you to know is: 1.your dash is personalized by God, but 2. life circumstances change your dash and, 3. your dash is making you grow in one direction or another, plus 4. your dash affects others, 5. and with your dash comes responsibility. Through choices we face regularly, we determine the worth of our dash. This is a program aimed at looking around, looking inward and looking ahead at spending our dash.
IT'S A GIRLS NIGHT OUT SO LET'S HAVE A PERSONALITY PARTY!
What makes us respond the way we do? Why are we different in our reactions? Enjoy a fun-filled and enlightening time learning about the temperaments. This can be done as a day or weekend retreat, a party with friends, or a shower. This is a great team building event for women's' ministry committees.
A MEDAL AROUND HIS NECK
This program is the inspiration of my special needs nephew, Josh. Along with so many who have encountered this rare spirit, I have been touched forever by his life. This moving story has been published by Zondervan Press in SUNSHINE KISSES FOR TEACHERS and is a tremendous instrument in helping others understand the power of someone able to live in wonder, awe and unconditional love. Along with Josh's story I share some other stirring moments that can help us look deep within to release us from our own disabilities. This is an appropriate presentation for school assemblies, teachers and parent groups as well as church youth programs.
